Hi There,
I have a multi level project 10 floors, and I'm trying to size the CWS, the CWS has 2 risers for each side of the building. Following the instructions to add floor connectors and vertical pipes I've successfully managed to connect one of the risers from ground to 10.
However when I come to connect the other riser ( which is only 6 floors) I get an error of no flow on level 2. I've successfully checked the systems by add in a system marker on each floor, they all size and check as I would expect.
I've followed previous advice given in other answers with regard to group deleting the riser and starting again, this produces the same result. I have tried connecting up the floors one at a time and checking the system and can successfully add up to and including the 2nd floor. however when I add the third floor it reports no flow on level 2 and highlights the riser area. I can't see any issues when checking the isometric view. I'm loathed to delete the services from this floor and replace with services from another floor as this will bugger up the one part of the system which is working.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Hi Wayne - this would suggest that you have an extra pipe section in the riser that is connecting into another section, or that you have drawn the FCC incorrectly. As you appear to have been successful with the 10 floor riser, it would indicate the first part. You should try and group delete the FCC and riser pipes, and pipes connecting into the risers on both floors. Refresh the screen and view both floors, and the isometric, to ensure there are no sections of pipe or FCC indicators in the are. Then draw the connecting pipes and riser/FCC back in.Regards,

I've just noticed when I start the riser pipe from the floor connector I get an error message runtime error '6' Overflow?
Is this an error which could be causing the issue?
I've tried group deleting the pipes around the riser on every floor, I've deleted the services on floor 3 and changed them with floor 2 still no change.
Any more tips??
After deleting the floor change connector on both floors, do you still see the floor change connector after refreshing the screen?
No they disappear..
If you try placing he FCC in a slightly different location, does the error occur then?Regards,
Hi Duncan,
Thank you for your help that worked!
Very much relieved I don't have to start again..
That's good news! I suspect there was a 'broken' FCC at that point or a damaged connection node. You should be ok as long as you don't place anything there.Regards,
