Run time error 76 In Netsys

Total newbie - first time user.

I have successfully named a project, used the design database package, and manually added 26 room data and successfully used heat loss load calcs to output reports.

Now I want to use Netsys for heating pipe sizing.

When I click the Heating link project explorer application dialog box pops up with my confirmed project details.  When I click on the green arrow to launch Netsys Heating pipe sizing I get run time error 76?

Using V8i SS1 SP2

Any help much appreciated.

  • Hi Alan

You should first of all update your software to the latest version. Unfortunately, the version you are running cannot be update via the service packs, and will need a clean installation.

This document provides details for uninstallation. Do not carry out step 3 and do not uninstall Crystal Reports.

Once completed, there are links at the bottom of the document to download and install instructions. When downloading, ensure you get all 3 parts of the installer, as shown in the document. When installing, follow the order shown. Ensure you are logged on as an administrator with UAC turned off during the uninstall/reinstall process.

I am unsure who in your organization has download access, so you may need to consult your colleagues.
