Hi Stuart - CHP cannot be used to solely provide for hot water systems.

Is there a step-by-step guide of how to put a CHP system in to provide domestic hot water only to the building?

Hello Stuart - CHP is only available on a limited number of HVAC systems. If you select one that allows CHP, an option to include CHP will appear. If you select this option you will be able to enter your system on the CHP, District heating and Air conditioning tab on the 'General' page.
