Can a Hevacomp model be exported to IES? Thanks.

Question

I have a Hevacomp model of a building but I want to export it to IES. I don't have Hevacomp so I cant figure it out myself. I will get the software only if I am able to export the model in IES. Thanks for your help.

The routines that IES have to import gbXML may not read our export exactly. gbXML is open to interpretation by each software vendor and errors can happen.

Ive done it, but the results are not good. Facets all over the place. I would rebuild it in IES personally.

Hi Faisal, 
 The only export from Hevacomp Design Database is via gbXML. This can be done fro the Utilities part of Design Database. This will give you building geometry but the import results will depend on the quality of the import routines in IES.
