Flat Roof Dormer vertical dormer cheeks

Question

Hi, 
 I am trying to model a pitched roof which has a number of flat roof dormers built into the pitch of the roof. 
 When I go to model the vertical parts of the dormer, the vertical parts of the roof form a rectangle shape which appears to form a wall within the room below the roof. 
 Is there a way of modelling the vertical parts of the dormer roof so that they form a triangle shape which follows the pitch of the roof?

Hi Andrew, 
 No, internal floors are taken care of by the 'Set Up intermediate floors/ceilings' option. 
 Taking a look at the Set Up Roof menu may help to clarify what I mean - see below where you must specify the floor immediately below the roof. Only one can be selected at a time. 
 
 With this in mind, what I was suggesting was to enter a one roof over ground floor rooms that have an exposed roof above them, and likewise a second roof over the first floor rooms. 
 If this proves too difficult due to the geometry (roof pitch etc) and if you would rather just have one roof drawing, then there is a second option, where you could: 
 1. Set up the Roof over the ground floor, but omitting all rooms that do not have exposed roof above. (For example for the area below, all rooms bar C5-10LK and C5-08C should be omitted). 
 
 2. Then, set up the same Roof over the first floor, again omitting any irrelevant rooms. 
 3. Finally, use Set up intermediate floors/ceilings to correctly set up room adjacencies.

Hi Andrew, 
 Unfortunately not - rectangular shaped windows can only be drawn. I would advise entering numerous small rectangular windows to the same total area in this space, or alternatively you could use Room Data mode to manually enter the window area figures.
