HELP WITH LOAD CALCULATIONS DATA AND TRANSFERRING IT INTO TOTAL BUILDING DESIGN

I have constructed my hevacomp model in the design database using the load calculation tab along with sizing all my mechanical pipe and duct systems using the pipe and duct sizer netsys tab.

I am wondering if it is possible to transfer all this data into the SYSTEM BUILDER "TOTAL BUILDING DESIGN " tab without having to re model and size all my work that I have already done.

any help on this matter is most welcomed

  • Good afternoon Shane

I hope you are keeping well  during this difficult time.

I am wondering if I maybe able to get your assistance.

I am having great difficulty in adding in floor connectors for my cold water services installation using Netsys.

Each floor is 3m in height with the pipe work on each floor level @ 2.8m , bar the roof level where it is @ 0.45 m off ground

Can you please provide some assistance on how to install the floor connectors to connect the rising main to each floor ???

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated .

I can also send on the netsys pipe files if needed.

  • Hi Seamus,

I'm doing well all things considered, many thanks, hope you are too. It's usually a case of drawing vertical risers up to the height of the floor above, and then entering the correct values into the Floor Change Connector menu. I'm not sure if you have seen our step by step guide on this? This can be found here.

So, for floor -1, you would rise from 2.8m to 3m, then place the connector. If you need any more specific instructions by all means let me know.
