Hi
I'm running a heat gain simulation on a room that is essentially a greenhouse.
The glass roof etc has all been set up as has the weather info.
The results output of the simulation reads that the temperature within the room stays constant all day and that there is no 'Solar input'.
Obviously the roof is made of glass and therefore this can not be the case.
What changes need to be made to my model/input data in order for the simulation to account for the solar gains.
Kind Regards
David
Hi David,
I would firstly advise setting up your roof again to ensure that the current roof surfaces are being taken into consideration. Please then try the simulation once more.

Hi Shane
Thanks for your quick response, this did not however solve the issue.
Do you have any further advise?
Thanks
Hi David, could you please forward the project folder to the following link and I will take a look: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-rfb4f9bf8e634ef18
Thanks Shane

I have set up the roofs and the simulation is showing solar gains as below:
I note you have two roof drawings so you need to ensure you omit the irrelevant rooms, ie:
1 - Tiled roof:
then,
2 - Glass roof:
