Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that this is still an issue. I think we have exhausted most of the possible resolutions at this stage so I am consulting our developers as to what other possible causes there may be. Your patience is much appreciated.

Hi Shane

Just as an update, we tried re-installing the Crystal runtimes and this did not work.

We then logged onto the computer as a local admin and completely removed all traces of Hevacomp, renaming the program files and programdata folders to .old also.

The UAC level is set to never notify.

We re-installed all 3 parts of Hevacomp in the correct order, running as administrator and exactly the same thing happens.

Do you have any further ideas please?

Thanks for checking the other calculations, Crystal Reports should be fine in that case. This is something I've never come across before to be honest but it would be worth ensuring the required Windows permission settings as detailed here.

Hi Shane. No I can't resize the window. If I click to the left and drag, it just moves the window around and to the right doesn't do anything. I've followed the steps for method 1 and 2 and still getting the same results. If I click OK on the first results page, the Index Results come up fine, but then i click OK again and it reverts back to the slim empty box showing no data. I've tried running other Netsys calculations and getting the same results. Tried looking at heat losses in the design database and these are OK.

Any other ideas??

Hi Pete, yes that's the latest version now. That's quite unusual. I take it you can't resize the window either. It looks like the Crystal reports components may not have installed correctly. Please reinstall Crystal Reports as detailed here.

Morning Shane,

I've had our computer people look into setting up Hevacomp as I've had a new machine last week and I was unauthorised to uninstall/install software. I left my machine with them last night and they have installed Hevacomp which shows:

Is this the right version now?

I've opened up the ductwork netsys which wouldn't calculate and it now calculates but the results look like this:

I can click on OK and it goes to the next part of the results but no figures show up still?? Any ideas??

Hi Shane. I've found the latest version and tried to open it but get an error message reading "Hevacomp content cannot be located. Please download and install Hevacomp V8i Content installer."

I'd previously installed this element but just tried again to make sure and still get the same error??

Hi Pete, v26 is a new installation rather than an update to v25, so you should now have both Hevacomp v25 and V26 installed.

Hi Shane,

I've ran all three parts of the update but still get the same error. The system marker is on the roof level (4). Hevacomp is still saying that i'm running version 25.06.7 though.........is that right??

Hi Pete,

What system marker is giving you this error? I have tried all in the project and all are calculating fine for me.

I noticed that you are on a very old version of the software (v25) which likely explains this. To resolve I would firstly advise installing the latest version, which can be downloaded as detailed here.

I've backed up the project, removed all the dampers I'd added and group unfixed all the ductwork. Unfortunately I'm still getting the same error.

Hi Pete,

This error is usually due to extreme numbers within the calculation. I would suspect that this is because of the specifics of the sizes fixed or the dampers entered.

Could you please back up the project and try unfixing by going to Ducts>Group>Group unfix, and selecting the entire floor in question?

Should the error persist it is likely to be the dampers. If the error persists after deleting these could you please let me know and I can inspect the model for you.
