Hello,
I am carrying out heat gain calculations for a large open space which will be served by a full air AHU system and have selected the "Fresh Air From Central Plant With Conditioned Air".
The documentation states "The illustration shows a recirculation system where primary fresh air is mixed with recirculation air then cooled to the defined supply temperature before being introduced to the room."
Does the calculation assume a degree of heat recovery? or is there any way of specifying a percentage of heat recovery?
Regards,
Hi Grant,
Specifying a percentage of heat recovery would be outside the scope of he steady state calculations. To do so you would need to consider Simulator where you can specify this in your HVAC equipment, as below. (Please note you would need a Simulator license to access this).

Thanks for the infoamtion Shane, would you have a link or some literature ont the simulator package.
No problem Grant. I believe I have found your contact details on our records here so I will request that your account manager get in touch to provide further details.
