I have a building model with a ground floor plan and roof. The floor plan has now changed but the external walls and footprint of the building remains the same. If I delete the existing ground floor plan and import a new floor plan will the application data for the roof remain ? I appreciate that if I delete the existing ground floor then all room information previously defined will be lost but if I retrace and input fabric data will the roof remain in place or do I need to start a new model?
Many thanks Alan, not too bad here all things considered. Hope you're keeping well too.
Hope the above works for you, please let me know how you get on.

thanks Shane I will give it a go...just what I needed to hear. Good news. Hope all is well with you and the team.
Hi Alan, you shouldn't need to delete the floor at all - you should be able to just redirect the software to the new DXF file. The rooms will all remain, and the background will be updated. You can then alter rooms as desired. Please see this article for further info.
If you wish to delete the floor, the roof will remain but you will need to 'Set Up Roofs' once more after entering your rooms.
