We are just working on a school with a number of labs and a fairly huge number of gas taps. Without allowing for diversity the pipe sizes are a bit ridiculous. There is a setting at the outlets for a diversity factor but it reducing this from 1 to 0.75 doesn't seem to make any difference to flow rates and I don't see how a diversity factor at an outlet can take account of diversity for a system.
Is there any way to include for the diversity in the gas system?
Hi Peter, for gas sizing as you mention a diversity figure is provided at the outlet. To use this, you will just need to ensure that the option below, in defaults, is ticked:

Really appreciate that. I thought there was some blindingly obvious thing that we have missed. It's not immediately obvious how the diversity is being applied. Is there a curve being applied (E.G. www.engineeringtoolbox.com/natural-gas-laboratory-demand-d_1200.html) or is it something more simple?
