Hi Philip,

Thanks for the tip. I found that the error is actually due to the floor change connector between Floor -1 and Floor 0.

Please go to Floor -1, and use Pipes > Group delete, to delete the connecter and associated riser.

Then, go to Floor 0 and do the same where the same connector appears on that floor.

You should then re-enter the connector as shown here.

When originally creating the project, I had a closed loop pipework error associated with the riser adjacent M32 on the 3rd floor and running down the building. I deleted and re-drew that riser, perhaps that may be the culprit.

Hi Phil,

I suspect that invalid data in floor change connectors is the cause of the error, however there are so many that it is proving quite difficult to pinpoint the culprit. I will get back to you later on today.

Hi Philip,

Apologies for the delayed response. This error means that there is invalid data within the system. This could be an open ended pipe, or emitters on top of each other, or similar.

I can check this for you if you could please upload the project to this link.

So I created a new heating pipework project to try and get around this issue, however when i come to size the system I have the same error again.

I have tried sizing other systems and CWS etc. work ok, it is just the heating system sizing which is reporting this issue.
