Bentley Hevacomp Energy Assessor Course (non dwelling) training

Hello,

My name is Guy and I have previously used Hevacomp and IES.  I have been asked by my employer to look into training to enable Us to complete EPCs and SBEM modelling using Hevacomp software.   I understand this would be a level 3/4 course.  When is the next course to be held?  and would it be remote learning given the Covid 19 situation.

Best Regards

Guy

  • Hi Guy,

Hevacomp’s capabilities are being transitioned to OpenBuildings Energy Simulator at this time, with communications about this due to be released in the coming weeks to provide guidance and clarification to our Hevacomp users.

I should stress that you can continue to use Hevacomp now and throughout this time. However, future updates and training will only be for OpenBuildings Energy Simulator.

In relation to the PartL certification for this; while development on OpenBuildings is nearing completion, as work is still ongoing with the software at this point I hope you can appreciate that these training details cannot be fully finalised until there is a finished software product for us to obtain PartL accreditation on, and so on. (Note: in the meantime existing users can continue to use Hevacomp to produce and submit PartL assessment now and throughout this time, until there is a new version of SBEM released by BRE.)
