The descriptions under the Emit Section under the heading Pipes and Ducts are incorrect. Under each heading description about u-Values are detailed. Please will you correct the manual?
Hello Sean,
There will be no further updates to Hevacomp as its capabilities have been transitioned to OpenBuildings. All future updates will occur in OpenBuildings only. For further details please see announcement about this here. All Hevacomp users will be directly contacted with this information by email in the coming days.

Hello Shane,
Thank you for your response. I work for a local authority that purchases the license directly my behalf via our IT Department, but look forward to receiving further information from you.
In terms of OpenBuildings, will there be a series of online training courses that new users like myself will be able to access, and training manuals?
Sean
Hi Sean,
No problem at all. Yes, these are already freely available to SELECT users and such resources are listed in the FAQ document I linked to above, ie:
Hi Shane,
Thanks. Can I ask you a couple of questions. Reading into OpenBuildings info, is this essentially for buildings that are designed using BIM projects only?
Also, as a new user of Hevacomp, I encountered issues when designing the heating and hws/cws systems for a two-storey building, particularly when converting a CAD drawing to DXF for the different floor levels and importing them in the Netsys Heating, CWS and HWS as appropriate. The imports for the different floor levels never overlaid one on top of the other and hence my floor connectors never matched. Is it better to add Floor 0 and then copy Floor 0 and re-name it to Floor 1 and then alter the Floor 1 layout or am I missing something?
No, there is no further development on Hevacomp and all of its capabilities have/are been transition to OpenBuildings. It is an updated replacement for Hevacomp.
In relation to the DXF issues; this will be due to the settings in your CAD files - see similar situation and solutions for Design Database issues like this here.
