Hi Shane
I have been aware of the issues regarding Hevacomp not being able to produce xml files for some time now and I'm sure this is being worked on as a priority. However, as a number of correspondents previously have alluded to, this issue is, for us Hevacomp users, a serious, debilitating one. In order to issue EPCs, and so as to not let our clients down, we as a company are having to re-input all building data into iSBEM which obviously takes a not insignificant amount of time and none of this unexpected cost is possible to pass on to our clients.
I have a number of questions I hope you will be able to answer:
1. When will this issue be resolved? Please give us a timescale.
2. Is it possible to produce xml files from the OpenBuildings software?
3. Will we get a refund on our subscription fees as effectively we are not able to use Hevacomp.
We all look forward to your reply.
Many thanks.
Kind regards

Hello Steve,
I can certainly appreciate your concern.
To give you details on the current situation, the current delay is because full accreditation was very recently obtained in OpenBuildings Energy Simulator for SBEM5.6.a. The SBEM version update now means that this needs to be updated to SBEM 5.6b. A priority build is urgently being completed for this. I am informed this will be ready for release next week.
I have again reinforced the issue to product management and have requested feedback on your queries.
