My model consists of two floors, 2.7m high for first floor and 2.7m for second floor. I added a pitch roof which messed the whole model up, so i deleted the roof data from the DDBROOF.NDX folder along with the ROOFPOLY.* and RLIGHTPOLY.* files. The model has become slightly better, but in 3D model view i can see straight down to the GF- so the GF has no ceiling. How do i add a ceiling to the GF. I also want to add a pitch roof with the middle edge elevated 2.25m, but i cant seem to get the datum height correct. Please can someone help me. im assuming the datum height is just 2.7+2.7=5.4m.
Hi Shane, i am using Hevacomp- design database
Many thanks for clarifying. While we wouldn't always recommend manually deleting the data files within the project folder, hopefully your model should be ok. To add the ceiling to the G floor you would need to go to Roofs / Floors and go through Set Up Intermediate Floors and Ceilings, as below:

Hi Shane i have done what you have recommended, a ceiling has been added above the GF, but there is no ceiling above the FF.
If i was to select set up exposed roof, it would raise each wall of the internal rooms to the roof rather than to the ceiling level at 2.7m high (disturbing the heat loss values). How would I resolve this issue of adding a ceiling above the first floor, creating a cold roof.
