Hi,
Ive set up a chilled water circuit and keep getting run time error 5 when i try to calc the system - Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Adam,
This would usually imply that there is invalid data within the project, such as a closed loop or disconnected pipe, I would need to inspect the project to be certain if you could please forward the project folder? Please find upload link here. (note this will expire in 24 hours)

Hi Shane,
Thanks for the reply i have uploaded the file to the link.
no problem Shane zip folder should be there now
Thanks Adam, the error is due to invalid figures that have been entered into the floor change connectors highlighted below. The rest of the system is fine.
You will need to use Pipes Group Delete to remove the floor change connectors and associated pipework from each floor they exist on, redraw, and ensure to enter valid floor number and height data - as demonstrated in this example.
Hi Shane, ive deleted the risers and im still getting the same error even when just trying to calculate the ground floor. I have started a new project and I've simply used a system marker and one emitter to see if i can calculate just that and again im getting the run time error 5!!!
Thanks Adam,
Is this a recent installation of the software? Could you please reply with a screenshot showing the Hevacomp parts installed in your control Panel Programs and Features menu, as below:
See below:
I may of solved the problem it seems the operating temperatures on the system marker of 20/25 deg C flow return will not work, however i can get it to work if this is changed!!
Thanks for the update, glad to hear it is now working for you. Just one thing on your image above - is Hevacomp Update 10 not listed also? I ask as the software consists of 3 parts and all must be installed for it to work properly.
I've only got the 2 missing the update 10 for some reason
Hi Adam, this may be the cause of some issues in that case as all 3 must be present and installed in the correct order.
To install fully you will need to, in this exact order:
1. Download Service pack Update 10 (as seen here)
2. Uninstall Content Pack 3
3. Install Service pack Update 10 (hcomp26060012en_updt10)
4. Install Content Pack 3 (hcomp26060400en_updt3)
