TM52 calculation in Openbuildings

Can you run a TM52 calculation in Openbuildings like you could in Hevacomp Design Simulation that shows a pass or fail?

    Hi Tony,

    You can use the Frequency Simulation in OpenBuildings to view overheating times, eg as below:

    The specific TM52 report is something that I have requested from our product team for a while now, as I know it is a requirement for users, and I have checked the development teams database and can see this is scheduled for update 10. (Until then, should you require these results please note Hevacomp remains available to you for free). I will add this request to increase the priority of the matter, so thanks for raising this.

    Is there any way of exporting open buildings back to Hevacomp as I don’t want to have to model the building twice.

    As another option does Openbuildings have a programme that will provide PMV and PPD results??

    Hi Tony,

    GBXML would be best for this - you can export from OpenBuildings (info here) and then open in Hevacomp DDB via the Utilities menu (info here).
