The last relevant Blog regarding becoming an Energy Assessor is from 2021, i am just wondering whether there has been any updates and details on the cost of the course, time needed and exam structure.
Thanks Shane, so i am already qualified as a Part L Level 3/4 Energy Assessor on OpenBuildings Energy Simulator, will this be transferable to lodge EPCs on HEVACOMP also or would this require an exam also?
Thanks Ali
Nice speaking to you. To confirm for any other users - Hevacomp can continue to be used for free as part of an OpenBuildings license, however Hevacomp cannot be used for PartL submission as it does not contain the current versions of SBEM. OpenBuildings Energy Simulator should be used for EPC or BRUKL submission.
