I am getting a Negative pressure drop result in the Hevacomp Duct, possible reason static regain. The Default Tee is Shoe Angled. But when I changed those particular sections having negative Pd to Universal Tee, the negative pressure was removed. Can you please tell me the possible reason for this.
Hope to hear from you sooner. Thanks
Hi Charmaine,
Good morning, universal tees have the largest, worst-case scenario, pressure drop factors applied, so they always generate high pressure drops if used. Please see info at:

Hi Shane,
We would like to know how the model keeps giving us negative PD results. We dont know why we keep getting static regain on those particular sections. the duct sizes seem fine. The downstream is not larger than the upstream in any case. But the model keeps giving us negative PD.
Morning Charmaine,
That is indeed a little strange - would be happy to take a look for you if you could please upload the project folder?
You can upload it via logging a new Service Request.
Thank you
Hi,
Would this be under Technical Support? It seems I don't have any permission to access it? Thank you!
I can take care of this for you - I have just sent you a private message.
