How do i download Hevacomp Software for carrying out Heat Gain / Loss Calculations?

Please note that the latest incarnation of Hevacomp is named OpenBuildings Energy Simulator (info here), which can accomplish all you should need for the above.

IMHO i wouldnt go anywhere near OpenBuildings Simulator.

I've tried it and it is 10 times more complicated that Hevacomp.

You can’t start a project on a drive and directory of your choice.

The screen wasn’t working correctly, it defiantly had a bug

I wasn’t getting anywhere with Bentley’s remote help

I gave up

I stick with Hevacomp

Many thanks for the feedback. We're here to help you with this, but I had a look at our records and the last time you were in touch was back in 2021, so if you have had any difficulties please let us know and we're happy to have a call or session with you to answer any such questions.

• For instance the screen display was likely just a settings issue, and would be a 30 second fix.
  
  
• Please also note that you can save a project wherever you wish. 

The main initial difference from Hevacomp is how to set up a project via Worksets and Workspaces, once past that I personally find is much more user friendly and the workflow is quite similar to Hevacomp's, eg as in the guidance below:

yeah 2021 sound about right. I gave up after that

A person tutorial on these workset and workspace things would be handy

I'll read the linked documentation first.

With the very limited use I've had I am yet to be convinced OpenBuildings is right for me
