Hi
My computer has suddenly started throwing up an error message when I attempt to run either Design Database or Netsys. I have been using these regularly for several years including up until last week, but now cannot run the software.
I can log on as far as the main menu "Hevacomp Design Software" screen, I can use Mechanical Design apparently as normal.
But when I select Design Database I get "Error 6 - Overflow". If I select Netsys then click on any of the sizing options (Ductwork, Heating, Gas, etc.) the same error message results.
Hevacomp version V8i SS1 SP10 (V8i SS1 CP3 (06/16)).
Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621.
Connection Client is updated to latest version.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Sayan
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately this does not help with my issue, as my problem is I cannot even get into the software at all. I am unable to access either Design Database or Netsys, either to examine an existing project or to create a new one.
Regards
Bruce
Thanks for the update.
I have found another wiki regarding the Run Time Error 6. Please have a look at this below wiki.
Hope this helps regarding your concern.

Am not sure which 'regional settings' are being referred to, but if it's the ones in Windows itself, this is all set to UK English, as it always is. This problem has only just raised it's head after years of using Hevacomp with these settings.
The folder permissions for the Hevacomp projects folder are all OK as these are being accessed by other users in the office without any issues.
By the way I have now noticed that in the main Hevacomp startup menu screen if I go to Configuration via the link at top right I get the same Run Time Error 6 message.
Something is clearly very wrong - do I need to un-install and re-install Hevacomp?
Yes, please try to uninstall Hevacomp first and then try to reinstall it once again.
Please do let us know if this worked or not.
