Hi,
I'm trying to install Hevacomp onto my laptop (Win7 64bit) from our companies server license. I have copied all of the files locally so that I can run the install and setup sequence, but I'm getting errors when trying to run HevaBanner.exe
The error reads "Error starting up Hevacomp banner program. (339, Component, 'Resize32.ocx' or of its dependencies not correctly registered: s file is missing or invalid in HevBanner25)"
I have checked through the files and all seam to be in order from when I loaded up another work laptop with the same files 6 weeks ago.
When I try and run the "Bentley select server license client" (windows installer package) it comes back with an error that reads "1: The InstallScript engine is missing from this machine. If available, please run ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance."
again, theres no ISScript.msi file anywhere.
Does anyone have any ideas that might help with this pickle?
Many Thanks
Adrian
Adrian - I'm afraid you cannot just copy files. There is a complete installation process that is required. I suspect by the information provided that you haven't installed the prerequisite components - these are vital to enable the software to function.First of all, you should refer to this document:

If you are attempting to setup a client installation then you do not need to run the server setup, but the installation of the prerequisite components is vital on either a client only or a server/client installation. Assuming that this is all in place, and you are attempting a server/client installation of the software then once the prereq's are in place you should navigate to the installation folder on the server machine and run the server setup from the server. If this is still causing problems under these circumstances, then it is likely that the software hasn't been patched to the latest update. You should then refer to this document:http://communities.bentley.com/products/building/performance/m/building_performance_gallery/171821/download.aspx
I would much prefer to deal with this through a ticket, if that is possible? If you log onto the Bentley Web site you can quickly locate the ticket manager and create a query through that. This will help keep track of this issue as in all fairness, the forum is not looked at frequently. (Please see sticky post at forum head for information)Best regards,Duncan
