What is the best way to model louvers in a simple industrial building? In the CAD input, I can add window and door, but not louver.
Also, to model natural ventilation, I realize you can pick a window and set "operable window type" as louver. But that doesn't sound right because I first have to set the opening to a glass window. Is that the right way to do it? Or should I use special flowpath data? Louver isn't available as an option there.

You should use the flowpath data options for setting up general airflows. Use opening window definitions purely for opening windows. The transfer grille option should suffice for setting up a louvre.
Please note that airflow paths and opening windows are not considered if you are running Steady State calculations (as seen in image). You need to run Simulation calculations to take advantage of airflow pathways.

I've tried using the transfer grille, but it didn't work. Upon further investigation, I realized that the transfer grille is only for internal partition only. It doesn't work for external air transfer. Is that correct?
Maybe could you provide a more detailed guidance for setting up the following scenario:
A rectangular single-floor, single-room building. There are four louvers at low level on a long wall. On the high level of the opposite wall, there are four openings for four propeller-type exhaust fans without louvers.
How do you model these two cases:
1. Natural ventilation. The fans are off.
2. Forced ventilation. The fans are on.
Would this be for steady state calculations of for simulation?
It would be for both. Because what I wanted to do as a next step is to also run the CFD simulations too.
With regards Steady State - air flow pathways are irrelevant as they only consider simple air flow changes as defined in the room data.
