I am running Hevacomp Service Pack 29 on Windows 7 32 bit.
Attached is a PDF which contains plots taken from a Connect project at several scales. The plot was created with CutePDF Writer but the issue is reproducible on physical printers.
Page 1 - Scale to fit
Page 2 - 1:50
Page 3 - 1:20
As you can see there are issues with the size and positioning of the text on the incoming devices, board names, way numbers, line numbers and outgoing device sizes. The problem is worst when 'Scale to fit' is selected and is reduced somewhat when a fixed scale is selected.
Due to the small number of fixed scales available in the drop down menu it is not always possible to select one which plots the drawing at a satisfactory size for the paper used, so selecting a fixed scale is not an acceptable workaround.
Hi Adam – regards your query – I have generated a service request for this issue so I can log it with our development team for examination. I shall contact you through the service request with further information.

Hello,
I am having a similar issue, where DB names are misaligned resulting in some fonts being cut off when plotting the schematic in any scale. This issue was observed in other files as well. Please see screen capture.
I am using Hevacomp V8i SS1 SP4 on Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise SP1. Please let me know if Adam's issue was resolved and what actions I should be doing to get this sorted. Thank you!
Hi Andreas,
I can confirm that the original issue was resolved in Hevacomp v26, however there is a slight misalignment of Board names in some instances.
This only applies to PDF's, so a workaround is to export to DXF (File>Export DXF), in which all text should be fine. You could then use your CAD software to edit any text as required, and print to PDF from there.
