Attached is a PDF which contains plots taken from a Connect project at several scales. The plot was created with CutePDF Writer but the issue is reproducible on physical printers.
I have tried the workaround you mentioned before and I had some issues there as well. Even though the font cut off problem gets resolved other problems are created. For example I need to edit the DXF file to show the correct font colour and change the fonts to Arial, as all text is changed to 'txt'. Also, I will need to create my own borders & title block. And finally the PDF print out loses some of its quality for some reason (zooming in will make the fonts look wobbly in comparison with the smooth fonts as plotted from Hevacomp). Therefore I am not very keen on using this workaround.

Is there any other approach to this issue by any chance? If not, then using the DXF file is the only solution..

RE: Connect - poorly aligned text on plots

Thanks for your replies, I know it now!

RE: Connect - poorly aligned text on plots

Hi Andreas,

I can confirm that the original issue was resolved in Hevacomp v26, however there is a slight misalignment of Board names in some instances.

This only applies to PDF's, so a workaround is to export to DXF (File>Export DXF), in which all text should be fine. You could then use your CAD software to edit any text as required, and print to PDF from there.

RE: Connect - poorly aligned text on plots

Hello,

I am having a similar issue, where DB names are misaligned resulting in some fonts being cut off when plotting the schematic in any scale. This issue was observed in other files as well. Please see screen capture.

I am using Hevacomp V8i SS1 SP4 on Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise SP1. Please let me know if Adam's issue was resolved and what actions I should be doing to get this sorted.
