• Is the anyway to check that a "Flat ceilling under this roof" is applied to a specific room?

Running Hevacomp, Design Database for Heat losses. (V8 SS1 SPB (V*i SS1 CP3 (06/16)) I want to apply a flat ceilling to some rooms since they are 3.6m high but have a ceilling at 2.7m. The problem is when I click the "Flat ceilling under this…

  • Weather data: run-time error 62 input past end of file

Hi, I keep having this issue with one of my models. It is not letting me go into weather data to input my weather files correctly. My global changes and fabric data work fine, it just seems to be the weather data that gives the error message as shown…
  • Error 380: Invalid Property Value when clicking on Profiles in Design Database.

Tried the other fix in this forum downloading the MatIndex.zip file and extracting in to the C drive and still have the issue. Fabric details are appearing OK also.
  • Does anyone have experience of modelling an air supported structure to ascertain the heat loss.

We have a project where our client is looking to provide a new air supported structure/ dome over an existing training pitch, the structure is to be heated and cooled as required. Can this be modelled using Hevacomp.
  • HEVACOMP Heat Loss Result

Hi Good morning, For the HEVACOMP Heat Loss Calculation, is there a way to know the required supply air flow based on the calculated total heat loss from the result? I'm looking at something similar with the CIBSE gain calculation where the result…

  • Very high CIBSE Solar Gains

I modelled a simple 5mx5m glass box with no heat transfer across the floor or ceiling and I created a custom glass to replicate a Pilkington glass (U-Value of 0.6 and g-factor of 0.55). When I checked the solar gains using CIBSE Gains they were 10.8kW…
