Overview

As part of the installation of Bentley Hevacomp V8i (v26) you will be asked to provide an activation code for the new installation. In most cases this will be for a Hosted license, and this document will help locate your license. If you have a deployed (or similar) license, then other information will have previously been dispatched to you.

Method

To access your Hosted activation code you will first of all need to log onto the Bentley web site: www.bentley.com

Note: You will require administrator privileges to the Bentley website to retrieve your activation code.
If you do not have Bentley Website administrator privileges you can ask your Bentley Website
administrator to grant these access rights to your account if appropriate.

Once on the Bentley Website you should mouse over "Support and Services" and select the "Support" option.

This will access the Select Server portal. From the menu at the bottom of the page, select the "License Tool" option.

If you haven't previously logged in to the Bentley Website then you should do so now.

As mentioned previously, ensure this is a Bentley Website administrator account
otherwise you will not be able to retrieve the code.

Now select the site that you are activating. If you have multiple sites, then you should select this carefully as different sites may have different activation keys. Once you have chosen your site click on Submit

On the final page, click on View to show your Hosted activation code.
