Design Database uses DXF files as the background for your project. When they are loaded into the program, the origin point and the extents of the DXF files are considered when they are being placed into the world space.
If the origin point is different on the DXF files, or extents off the DXF differ too greatly then the program can have difficulty positioning the DXF file.
In the example below, the extents of the drawing are shown as a black surround, the origin with a black X. The program would still scale the drawings correctly - your rooms would be the correct size - but the position of the DXF would be offset from the first one.. This would misalign your floor.

Similarly in example 2, the position of the two origin points would stop your floors lining up correctly.
