Why Do My Connect Reports Only Show Headers And Footers [TN]

    Document Information

    Document Type: TechNote

    Product(s): Hevacomp Mechanical Designer

    Version(s): All

Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

    Overview

When viewing or printing connect reports, you can only see the header and footer of the chosen report.

This problem can occur when the user has not been given enough rights to access a folder on the Hevacomp installation.

    Method

The method for fixing this problem is the same for Server or Client installations of the software.

Locate the Heva24 folder on either the Server or Client machine, and set the permissions for this folder, and all folders further down the chain of directories, so that all users have permissions to read and write to these folders.

    Notes

Hevacomp recommends that users are given read and write permissions to Hevadata, and all folders down from there, as a matter of course.
