Overview

Hevacomps Connect package contains a powerful reporting tool that allows you to set up your own custom reports for your projects.

If you have created your own Custom Reports in Connect V23 and wish to use these same reports in V24 you need to follow the instructions below.

Method

To use your existing reports in the current version of the software, you will need to copy files from your old version to the current version.

This example shows how to copy version 23 custom reports to version 24. The procedure will also work for transferring version 21 to version 24, or version 22 to version 24, and even version 24 to V8i. Look for your files in the Heva21 or Heva22 or Heva24 folder rather than the Heva23 folder.  The V8i software will have installed to the Heva25 folder.

Notes

• ConnectRpt28_1.rpt is the first custom report. All files with a number greater than 28 should be copied, I.e.: ConnectRpt28_1.rpt to ConnectRpt35_1.rpt etc
• If you are copying these files from an earlier version (e.g.V21 or V22), the first file is ConnectRpt27_1.rpt, and you will start from this file.
• While we have tested, and confirm, moving files from version 21, version 22 and version 23 files to later versions, we have not tested, nor recommend, moving files back to earlier versions.
