Overview

The name assigned to doors in the Fabric menu can have an effect on their categorisation in the Part L calculation.

Method

In previous versions of the software, the door categories were identified through the door description alone - for example a door named "VEHICLE DOOR" would result in the door type being identified as a Vehicle access door.

While there now exists a drop-down menu to select door type, the above functionality is still present in the latest version of the software for the compatability of old projects.

Should the Door description contain any such keywords it will overwrite the door type dropdown selection, so sufficient care must be taken when naming doors appropriately.
