Overview

Under certain circumstances Network drives may not be visible in Hevacomp Project Explorer, when attempting to navigate to Hevacomp project files.

Explanation

This issue is caused by Windows settings. The below steps should resolve this issue:

1. Firstly, please ensure that the Network drive has been mapped to the client machine.
2. Ensure Full Administrator access to the project location, as described here.
   
   
3. Completely disable User Account Control. Please note that this may need to be done by editing Registry keys. While this is outside the scope of Hevacomp support, your IT should be able to assist. Guidance on the methods can also be found online, at 3rd party sites such as here, and here, for example.
   
   

You should then be able to navigate to the network location to access your Hevacomp projects.
