When viewing the Design Database 3D Cad model, the floors in the project appear to be misaligned.
This is invariably due to the DXF files being misaligned, usually because of different origin points (see this document for details)
To resolve this is a two step process.
Recreate your DXF files ensuring that the origin points for the new files all match. This article shows how to load a new DXF for a floor. Once the DXF's are loaded you will find that rooms no longer align correctly. You can now use a 'hidden' function to realign the rooms.
Push CRTL-ALT-SHIFT and R this will add a Realigner (rooms and roofs) function to the zoom menu.
Choose this menu option. You will be prompted to select the poly-line end (room point) that you wish to move (highlighted with circle)
Now you will be prompted to select the DXF vector you wish to move the poly-line point to. When selected the rooms will be moved to that location. It may take more than one attempt to line up the rooms, if so, ensure you reselect the menu option each time.
The function will need to be re-activated (CTRL-ALT-SHIFT R) with each CAD input session.
This functionality is considered unsupported and should be used at your own risk. Back up your project before making any changes
