Following a new installation, attempting to run Hevacomp produces either of the following errors:
This is usually due to a lack of permissions during the installation process, which blocks registration of the RSS feed components.
1] Ensure you have are logged in to the users account and UAC has been turned off. Turning off UAC may require a reboot.
2] Download this small zip file - this contains a batch file and components to help register the RSS feed
3] Extract the contents of the zip file into your installation folder.
C:\Program Files\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Hevacomp V8i\Hevacomp
Once extracted you should see:
4] Right click on REGRSS.BAT and choose Run as Administrator. If prompted, enter the administrator password.
5] A command window should appear, confirming registration.
