    Removing Hevacomp usernames from Log On screen

    Overview

     Upon starting Hevacomp, the following Log on screen appears:

    These user names can be deleted by editing a data file within the Hevacomp Projects folder.

    Method

    Firstly, ensure that Hevacomp is closed. Then, using Windows Explorer, navigate to the Hevacomp Projects folder and locate a file named HEVUSERS. 

    Please note the Hevacomp Projects folder is usually located at either:

    • C:\Hevacomp Projects:

    • Or; C:\Users\firstname.surname\Documents:

    By opening this file in Notepad, any defunct user name can be deleted by simply deleting the relevant line of text and saving.

    For example, to remove the above user, delete the text as per below image, and then select File > Save.
