DXF Import issues - Drawing is inverted

Product(s): Mechanical Designers - Design Database
      Version(s): V8i (N/A)
      Environment: N/A
      Area: N/A
      Subarea: N/A

    Problem

Importing a DXF is showing the drawing inverted in either the X or Y axis, or both.

    Solution

When a DXF is selected for import, the program will attempt to discern whether it is in millimeter or meter scaling.

If the drawing is millimeter scaled and you choose to override that by select meter scaling, the drawing can appear inverted as the offsets to the polylines will be very large - often in the 10's of kilometer range. Ensure you import your drawing with the correct scaling.
