    Simulations Run Perpetually

      Product(s): Hevacomp
      Version(s): V8i
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Simulator
      Subarea: N/A

    Problem Description

When attempting to run a Simulation, the software remains unresponsive.

    Steps to resolve

This can occur if the path to where your project is saved is too long for the Energyplus simulation engine to process.

Simplifying your folder structure and shortening the naming of each should allow the Simulation to complete. If this is not possible, then please temporarily copy the project folder to your Desktop or C drive and run it from there.
