The .Net framework 3.5 must be installed and activated before you can install Bentley Hevacomp desig software. .Net framework 3.5 is not enabled by default in the Windows 8 operating system, the document below demonstrates how to activate this feature. Note that this information is also relavent to Windows 7 systems that may have .Net framework 3.5 de-activated.
