Pictures from a recent training event at the Stanford Linear Accelerator

Hi all!

I just wanted to post some pictures of the facilities at a recent training event held at the Stanford University Linear Accelerator Campus. I thought everyone may find it interesting to see the other Bentley Verticals and Industry Segments where our Comms suite of applications are being utilized! These pictures are all unclassified so I thought I might share with our existing Comms users!

The pictures you will see are of the 2+ mile long facility (building) 30ft above the linear accelerator. Bentley Fiber, Duct and Inside Plant are being used to manage and document the fiber facilities needed for the security and network assets necessary for the experiments being conducted. 30ft of earth, cement and radiation shielding seperate the above ground racks and fiber faciities from the experiment areas. In the experiment areas, the 400gigawatt linear accelerator (laser) is used to generate the speed and accuracy necessary to direct atoms at each other from opposite directions to measure and study the energy created by such collisions.

The attachments contain pictures of the facility itself  as well as what the facilities look like in V8i Comms..

I hope everyone enjoys seeing other applications of Bentley Comms different from their own :)
