I am a new user and am curious about what the difference between the different types of resources are. Particularly the difference between location and material resources are. I have tried looking in the Synchro help files and online resources and haven't been able to find much information.
Hi Levi - General practice of construction estimating and scheduling has the concept of labor, material and equipment resources. As SYNCHRO Pro is a scheduling software, any schedule and activities can be resource loaded with those types of resources.
Location resource is a synchro specific resource as SYNCHRO Pro is a visual planning product. Location resource can be used on any 3D object representing location such as laydown area or exclusion zone. Material resource can be concrete, steel or any construction materials required to build the project.
