I have actually exercised this task in two differnt ways. One initiating from P6, and then importing into synchro,
And then initating from Synchro and importing into P6.
As these are fixed costs, I don't want to set up a rate per unit.
Once I set this up in either system, and export and import to the other no cost data comes through.
What am I doing wrong?
Hi Trevor - From the activity IDs, I think you are comparing two different activities? If you are not able to provide the files, please provide screenshot showing comparison between the same task in both P6 and SYNCHRO Pro.

Hi Trevor- Hope you had a nice weekend. Thanks for the screenshot. In Pro the budgeted direct cost SUB for the selected task is $71,456, which matches what's in P6. Is this the expected result?
If you assign expenses to activities in P6, they will come into Pro as budgeted direct cost items.
It should work the other way around as well, i.e. setting it up in Pro and export to P6. In this case the following P6 settings may be helpful if you are trying to bring data back to P6.
Without having the P6 XML and the Pro SP files I could only guess what you are trying to achieve. Please feel free to send me the files for investigation if you think this is an issue of Pro. I think you are misunderstanding me. I have attached the two files.
If you take the P6 file and and try to import it into Synchro, the costs don't import.
If you take the Synchro file and try to import it into P6 the costs don't import.
I created both of these files manually in each system.
Can you please take a look, and let me know if you have the same issue.
