We are many user of Synchro where I work, all the same version. Some of us can do primavera XML import, all data imported... Others, when trying the import, will process the import, no error messages, just no content imported. Is there something missing in some of our systems like odbc driver?... Just can't figure out yet what is missing in some of them?....

Users shouldn't require any plugin to import Primavera XML file. Are all the users using the menu File -> Import -> Primavera P6 to import the Primavera XML data?

Can you please ask the users having issues to follow the steps in the above document and then re-try?
Also, please confirm whether all users are using the same Synchro Pro version and if you still continue to have issues, can you please let me know what version you are using?

Confirm a new bench of tests... I gave 4 test files Primavera XML to a few users for testing, Exports done a few months apart. Some users can open some, others not... I personally can open all of them. What is different in my system compare to others is that I am the one responsible to import many cad and GIS format, various database, more than the others... I have more software and conversion tools that cam import/convert over 400 file format. Many extra drivers, odbc, plugins installed on my systems by those tools, way more then my colleagues... That is why I think they are missing something, a plugin, driver. that was installed in my system.
