Resource Status are not showing up in my Ipad

Hi Edgar,

Please make sure you follow the following steps to set up your project.

1. Create Resource Groups from Resources

Resource Groups aggregates 3D Resources as individual packages by responsibility. You can create Resource Groups by selecting desired resources > right-click > Resource Groups > Create Resource Groups from Selected.

2. Set up Resource Statuses

Resource Status defines detailed steps and milestones beyond construction activities.

1. Go to Navigator > Resource Statuses to open the Resource Statuses panel.
2. Define a Status Set by selecting the Default Category and right-click to Add (or press the Insert key). Name it as Concrete. Define a Status by selecting the Concrete Status Set and right-click to Add (or press the Insert key). Name it as Formed. The new Resource Status will be indented under the Status Set. Repeat to add a new Status Rebar and Placed.

3. Create Human Resources

1. In the Resources panel, right-click > Add Human > Add your name as a Human Resource.

2. Right-click on the Resource panel column title > Customize Columns > Add Email columns

3. Enter your email address for Bentley IMS.

4. Assign Resource Group Personnel

By assigning personnel to Resource Groups, you can define responsibility for each resource group packages. You can select a Resource Group > Go to Resource Group Properties > General > Personnel > choose from the Human Resources you have just created.

5. iModel Synchronization

Transaction synchronization to iModel needs to be finished before the next step. The transaction status can be checked in Transactions > Transaction history.

The solution that Siqi provided above is for SYNCHRO Field, which only works with SYNCHRO 4D Pro v6.3.1.2. Can you please confirm if this is indeed the version you are working with?

I have followed the steps except for creating new resources status groups concrete. I will still uses system statuses and assign status on selected resources on system statuses instead.

However, it still does not shown up in ipad...

Yes, both field and 4D pro is the latest one.

It would be best if you can attach a screenshot or record a video for me to troubleshoot. At the same time, I put the steps to update status in Field for your reference. If you still cannot see the resource status, we can schedule a call.

• Download updated model. If your offline version is outdated, you can click "Update" to download the latest model from the Control project.

• Navigate to the menu > Status Update
  • 
• Choose tasks to be shown in Task List. Here we can choose "All tasks".
  • 
• Click on any of the tasks > click the pencil icon to Edit. This will isolate the associated 3D Resources with the task.
  • 
• Tap to select multiple 3D Objects.
  • 
  • Note: You can click the Clear All button to clear your selection.
• Set Status for Selected 3D
  • 
• Sync updates to Control project
