I have imported a general schedule from P6, so, inside Synchro I have created child tasks for most of these general activities that came from primavera. After this I have defined task progress for these child activities on Synchro which are defining an specific progress for the parent task of course. The question, is there a way to "synchronize to" primavera and it will update the progress of its "parent tasks" without adding the child tasks I created inside synchro?

Are you using the latest 6.3 version? If yes, then you will see an option to skip child tasks when synchronizing to P6. If it is already not set to TRUE then set it to TRUE. Hope this works.
