Can some one help me with the workflow of how to integrate Context capture -iModel -Synchro? I tried to transfer the reality model to fbx format but the clarity & texture were gone during this transfer. Is it possible to transfer the context

RE: Synchro-Context Capture-imodel integration

The issue is that 4D Pro does not read native 3MX/3SM data and you will lose texture information.

RE: Synchro-Context Capture-imodel integration

Hi Arpit,

Thanks for the recommendation. Have you tried the exchange process with Context capture Editor ? I want to use the native 3MX format. Is it possible to attach 3MX format to microstation with out converting to OBJ?

Kind Regards

I have had decent success in importing OBJ into Microstation (or other similar modeling tools) and converting it to iModel using Microstation Connector, which then becomes available in 4D Pro. If you simply reference a ConptextCapture > ContextShare web reality mesh to Control, it will not be available in 4D Pro.

I would recommend reaching out to the ContextCapture team to ensure you can extract a high-fidelity OBJ model.
