Invisible Columns

Hello, the columns in my model are not visible, can you please tell me how to change that?

Thank you

  • Hello Sascha,

Missing geometry could be due to a number of reasons. Can you please answer the following -

    • Are the Columns loaded (3D Object tree)?
    • Are the Columns assigned to a previous Task?
    • Is the assigned Appearance Profile correct?

    • Which SYNCHRO 4D Pro versions are you using?
    • What's the original modeling tool or format?
    • What's the process for importing the model in SYNCHRO?

This may help us identify the issue, but ideally, you should send the SP file with the above answers to SYNCHRO Support.

  • Hi Arpit,

    - They are not assigned to anything, no schedule in this file

    - The assigned Appearance profile only matters with an assigned task, right?

    - Its SYNCHRO 2020 Pro

    - Via IFC

I hope that helps to solve the problem.

I also sent the model to your Support Mail

  • Hello Sascha,

It seems that the columns are transparent in the IFC. Since the Cutting Plane is transparent as well, you don't see other transparent objects behind it. Increasing the Transparency > Layers will fix this behavior -

Or you can simply turn off the Cutting Plane > Show Plane option -
