When we import a Synchro file into Unreal using the Synchro control and i-twin platform data smith(combined-mesh), the animations are viewed in unreal, but cannot see a Bottom-top Simulation/ Top-Bottom Growth Simulation for elements. We are able to see Left-Right/ Right-Left Growth simulation and all visibility changes(hide/Unhide) but not able to see BT/TB Growth Simulations. Can you explain more about how the simulated animations are being converted into Unreal? and how does this even work when we try to change the ScheduleActor code? Do you have any separate documentation for it.(i have viewed all the documents in the iTwin platform, but cant find anything related to the growth simulations
Hi Akshay,
The Datasmith connector was a beta test and is no longer be officially supported. You can still reach out to SYNCHRO Support and may get more info from the developers regarding the growth simulation issue.
As suggested in other posts, please review LumenRT or Omniverser integrations for a more streamlined workflow.
