SYNCHRO 4D Power BI Integration - Known Limitations

SYNCHRO Power BI Data Connector

• The Connector does not currently support a 4D iModel viewer within Power BI. Contact here for more information about embedding interactive 3D iModels.
  
  
• User Field data is only accessible for SYNCHRO Control 4D projects using v6.5+.
  
  
• Non-User Field data is available for any SYNCHRO Control 4D project v6.4+.
  
  
• The Connector does not include all Task/Resource/3D Properties. However, required Properties can be duplicated as a User Field in 4D Pro, which will then be available in Power BI. 
  
  
• The Connector does not account for multiple Baselines and Scenarios. Such data can be brought in as User Fields.
  
  
• Task Percent Complete is rounded down to a whole number.
  
  

SYNCHRO Power BI Template -

• The template may include additional tables and relationships to support some advanced visuals.
  
  
• EVA values may not be 100% in sync with SYNCHRO 4D Pro. If the calculations are inaccurate beyond acceptable accuracy, please reach out to SYNCHRO Support.
