Workspace Layout


When working inside a Project, the workspace is divided into two main parts –

Modules (the Sidebar)
Main View, which adapts to which Modules you pick from the Sidebar

All the Modules available in SYNCHRO Control are displayed and accessible from the widgets on the sidebar.

Create – This is a quick link to create Daily Log, Issue, Observation, and RFI.

Home - Brings users back to the Project Homepage.

Work - Contains a breakdown of tasks for My Work, Daily Log, Issue, Observation, and RFI that can be seen in multiple views (Table, Map, and Model).

Documents - Access shared files, External Connections, Plan Sets, Specification, and Media Explorer (Media Indexing) for the project.

Schedule - Allows the project team to view the Schedule linked to 4D Pro.

Planning - Allows the creation and access to Work Packaging.

Cost - Manage, collaborate, and analyze construction cost data through Contracts, Schedule of Values, Potential Change Orders, Change Orders, and Payment Applications.

Dashboard – Displays the information collected in Daily Log, Issue, Observation, and RFI in an easy-to-use interactive Project Dashboard.

Administration – Contains multiple sections to manage and customize the different features in SYNCHRO Control.

Help Center – This is a quick link to SYNCHRO News, Onboarding, SYNCHRO Ideas Portal, Technical Support, SYNCHRO Resources, Learn SYNCHRO, and, SYNCHRO Accreditation.
